So much for updating this every week.....
The last three Wednesdays have been fun, but not super exciting. I think all three weeks we went out to eat :)
So even though this is the lamest update post EVER, here are some blogs I totally plan on writing some time in the moderately near future:
! My $5 bedside dressers that have 8 coats of paint and counting and may never be finished and I'm ready to take an axe to.
! My dumpster-dive find that I fully intend on turning into a headboard and decided that I'm going to leave as-is instead of painting even though Manny says it's "trashy". Literally.
! 1st Crawfish boil photos.
! Halloween!

THIS IS THE PLACE. I'm not entirely on board with that.
My Thursday evening was spent surrounded by 4500 amazing people who feel the exact same way I do.
We all wore black, and we all layed on Salt Lake City concrete.
We all knew why we were there, and so did everyone else.
I'm not going to go into the subject because:
a) I'm sure you are all fully aware how I feel
b) I'm tired.
I'm so tired of hearing self-righteous comments, blind agreement and patronizing dialogue. This past week has been increasingly difficult to picture my future life in Utah. I'm more angry, hurt and bewildered than ever before with the people I'm surrounded by.
James & Leah
Me & Guy
On the opposite end of the emotional spectrum, I've never felt more proud of my family.
If these people who claim to be so centered on "family values" shared half the love, respect, support and happiness that my family did, they'd know they are wrong about so much.
I thank my parents for the incredible gift of being open minded enough to always see the bigger picture :)
$#!T on Wednesday: 40/52
This Wednesday was spent in SL with my favorite "city" peeps.
Me and B went to a couple thrifty stores and then joined everyone for dinner at the Wild Grape = mmmmm :)

$#!T on Wednesdays
So, in an effort to better update this blog, I've decided to attempt a series of blogs entitled, "Shit on Wednesday".
See, a bunch of us bffers get together on Wednesdays and do something.
Go to eat, chill out, play/watch softball. Whatever. We just try to get together and have some fun in the middle of the week as a big happy dysfunctional family. When I think about some of the stuff we've done, I realize that we're all pretty much badasses, and that the world should know of our badass endeavors.
I present to you the first installment! :)
$#!T on Wednesday: 39/52
We stayed at "home" this week and made pizzas on the grill.
(Idea thanks to the badass known as Erica)
This involves:
• Pizza dough from those containers that you twist open and pray to Jesus that nothing will impale you when they burst. And no matter how you prepare yourself, they still scare you. Yeah. Those.
• Any toppings your little heart may desire.
• Olive Oil
• Grill
I took pictures of us eating our masterpieces, but, uh... we all look kinda creepy. All of us. Go figure.

First you stretch out the dough and brush one side with olive oil, then grill it on the oiled side for a couple minutes
Then you oil the other side, and put sauce and toppings on the grilled side, cook till done!
Pretty easy, as long as you don't drop them on the floor, which is what I did. To two of them. Can I get a "holla" for the 5-second rule?

THE HOLY MOTHER OF ALL BLOG POSTS!!!!!
Apparently, this here blog hasn't been updated in quite a while, and all two of you that read it have let me know.
So heregoes!
Me and Manny went to Pride with James in SLC. I was really glad I went, even though seeing dudes hold hands makes me bawl.
It was pretty amazing to see such a great turnout, and makes me realize just how many people there are in Utah that feel the same way we do.
Rock on, gays.
We went camping by Bear Lake with a bunch of Manny's cousins.
This trip included several epic 4-wheeler rides = a whole bunch of dirty, dirty people.
Manny and I kayaked to our favorite spot in the back of Causey reservoir and camped.
It definitely takes some logistical genius to pack all your stuff in little boats, but it is SO worth it.
It's so quiet and gorgeous, we did not do nearly enough kayaking this summer :(
One of the best parts about camping? Taking books and not having anything else to do but read them :)
The annual 4th of July BBQuah was bigger and better than ever!
We had about 30 awesome guests come celebrate with us :)
Sister had a birthday :) Great party with great company.....
...that somehow ended with the beer pong game of all beer pong games. Apparently the lampshade on the head is a signature trick shot that
was invented this night.
Brayden started playing pad football this year.
Isn't he the cutest little bobblehead you've ever seen?!!!
Oh, and Manny is one of the coaches on his team.
It's been pretty fun watching both of them out there on the field :)
I even bought TWO Bees t-shirts. I never ever EVER thought that would happen.
Alex has also been playing JV Tennis for Bear River,
but I don't have any pictures of her :/
Ok, so that wasn't really as long as I thought it was going to be.
I've probably left out a whole lot, but if I don't have pictures of it happening,
I tend to forget about it!
I'm going to promise to TRY to do better at updating:)
Rebellion Photo!
This summer has been absolutely crazy. hectic. madness.
So what does a logical person do when they are so busy all the time?
They start a business.
Yeah.
I'm kicking my hobby up a notch and I'm pretty damn excited about it.
By excited, I mean that I've been nauseous and anxious and doubtful for two months prior to launching my site. I'm an overanalyzer, but after finally jumping in (Ok, it was really more of a slow tentative lurk from the kiddie pool....) I feel pretty good about it.
I've got creativity pouring out of my nugget, and sticky notes all over with ideas for shoots and things I'd like to do. Tell your friends!
So here she is, friends. One of the reasons I've been MIA lately.
I've been putting crazy amounts of energy into getting this going :)

Thanks a lot, interwebz.
I've been so busy lately that I have completely neglected this blog. I was off doing other totally rad things that aren't blogging, but are totally blog worthy.
More on this later.
Apparently, I haven't been busy enough that I couldn't visit THIS SITE:
Where I made THIS happen to myself.
I've been having a pretty awful day. One that involved my workplace smelling like shat asparagus and bratwurst, someone asking when I was 'due' and computer malfunctions.
this. made. everything. all better.
I laughed SO HARD. Seriously, In 20 years I'm going to be a man with bad teeth? LOL
Then I started thinking about how this picture is really about 7 years old, so this is me in more like 13 years. *buys white strips and estrogen*
